Ravens Wide Receiver Zay Flowers Sidelined by Hamstring Injury Against Colts

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers exited Sunday's matchup against the Indianapolis Colts after suffering a hamstring injury during the second quarter. The team officially designated the receiver as questionable to return to the game following his departure.

The injury occurred with approximately six minutes remaining in the first half, shortly after Flowers had established a new career high in receiving yardage. Prior to leaving the field, he had been a central figure in the Ravens' offensive performance, accumulating 150 receiving yards on five receptions.

Impact of the Injury on Baltimore's Offense

Flowers made an immediate impact early in the contest, beginning with a 49-yard reception from quarterback Lamar Jackson on the team's opening offensive drive. That play set the stage for an eventual 5-yard rushing touchdown by Jackson. Later in the second quarter, Flowers extended the Baltimore lead with a 54-yard touchdown reception. On that play, he crossed the field to receive a sidearm pass from Jackson before navigating through the Indianapolis secondary to reach the end zone.
