Late Boxing Champion Ricky Hatton’s Manchester Mansion Sold for £1.5 Million

The luxury Greater Manchester residence once owned by the late boxing champion Ricky Hatton has been sold for £1.5 million. According to Land Registry records, the final sale price for the five-bedroom detached property in Gee Cross represents a decrease of £350,000 from its original market valuation of £1.85 million.

The property, which served as the home where the 46-year-old former world champion was discovered deceased in September 2025, underwent several price adjustments before the transaction was finalized earlier this year. The home was briefly withdrawn from the market following the athlete's death before being relisted at £1.75 million and subsequently reduced further to £1.65 million.

Property Features and Legacy

Constructed in 2010, the residence was noted for its extensive custom features that reflected the boxer's personal interests. The estate included a private gym, a cinema room, and a games area equipped with a bar, which featured a glass wall overlooking a heated indoor swimming pool and jacuzzi. The grounds were similarly distinct, incorporating seats salvaged from Manchester City’s former Maine Road stadium and a traditional telephone box, highlighting the athlete's well-known association with the football club.
